Why Perfect Order is a Slept On Set

There have been times in the past when I've agreed with what appears to be the overwhelming consensus of the Pokémon community; however, this is not one of those times. Perfect Order is a slept-on set, and I will stand by that.

For starters, this, to me (certified in nothing, might I add), feels like a cutie set. There are some really nice base set arts, and honestly it exists throughout all the rarities. Cutie investment in Pokémon is a real thing (again, certified in nothing but yap, but I digress). I think once the hype of Ascended Heroes blows over, the cute cards in this set are going to be sought after.

The Meowth cards for example, I think will skyrocket once we've lost the rose-coloured glasses surrounding Ascended Heroes. Think about Phantasmal Flames and what was once a very affordable, cute Art Rare, became a highly traded, sought-after collectible card at card shows.

I also think that 'scalper mentality' too often influences the way people feel about sets.

It's not always about what's going to get you the best returns, but about the set that you gravitate toward the most. And because of that discourse, coupled with the fact that at the initial launch, this set was so widely available, the mentality became that it must mean nobody wants it.

I mean, to each their own, but truly, I do think that we're going to see a resurgence in approximately 6-8 months.

How can you possibly tell me that they're not going to be sought after?
